2.  Another Missing Female from Bellefonte

Dawn Miller also went missing from Bellefonte, PA (October 24, 1992).  However, she was from Williamsport, PA.  Brenda Condon also had a connection to Williamsport as she ran a cleaning service branch there (and in State College).  Is it possible that these disappearances are related?  Cannot find any information on the internet suggesting that a connection between these cases has ever been considered.

Classification: Missing
Date of Birth: June 9, 1970

Details of Disappearance

Miller was a resident of Williamsport, Pennsylvania in 1992. She stayed in the Bellefonte, Pennsylvania area for a few weeks in October 1992 to secure an apartment. Miller was last seen leaving the Academy Apartments with two male individuals on October 24, 1992. She may have been carrying a denim purse at the time. She and her male companions left in brown/maroon 1982 Datsun 210 station wagon (see this photo for an example) which had a dilapidated appearance (unknown color).  They may have been in the Howard/Jacksonville Road area. Miller has never been heard from again. Few details are available in her case.

The Charley Project reports that authorities have identified a suspect in this case that hasn't been publicly named.  The suspect claims he did not harm Miller but knows who did (and that man is now deceased).  Her case remains unsolved.

3.  Greg Palazzari

Photos of Greg Palazzari (Brenda Condon's boyfriend at the time of her disappearance):

Greg was arrested in August 2009 for cocaine distribution (click on picture for link to article).

Palazzari is the former boyfriend of Brenda Condon.  According to Centredaily.com, his attorney claimed police have approached Palazzari since his arrest, asking him if he wanted to offer any more information on her disappearance.

Palazzari said he told police everything he knew nearly 20 years ago.   State police Cpl. Joe Cigich, who spent time investigating the case, corroborated that. “Nothing pointed to his involvement to her disappearance at the time,” he said. “And there’s been nothing since come to light.”

4.  Serial Killer James Robert Cruz, Jr. & 'Spring Dawn'

'Spring Dawn'

Dawn Marie Birnbaum

March 22, 1993:  Dawn Marie Birnbaum was a 17 year old runaway from the Elan School in Poland Springs, Maine.  She was picked up locally by James Robert Cruz, Jr., a truck driver with the New Century Trucking Company of New Waterford, Ohio.  On March 23, 1993 he murdered Birnbaum and dumped her half-clothed body on a snow bank at the northbound on-ramp of State Route 26  off route 550 in Spring Township, less than a mile from where Brenda Condon went missing just 2 years earlier.

Birnbaum remained unidentified for a time and was called 'Spring Dawn' by the locals.  Through the stellar investigative efforts of the Pennsylvania State Police and FBI, Birnbaum was later identified and her murderer was brought to justice.  Cruz was convicted of Birnbaum's rape and murder and is currently residing at SCI-Graterford for life as prisoner CL1798.  It has been suggested on some media outlets that Cruz may be responsible for other murders along his trucking route in the Midwest and the East (though they do not list specific cases).  He is listed as a serial killer on serialkillers.wikidot.com and http://www.crimezzz.net

Is Cruz possibly connected to Brenda's disappearance?
